... and another 5 MCMP video collections on iTunes U!

Three weeks ago we introduced new channels for the MCMP on iTunes U. Today we proudly announce another 5 MCMP video collections: Philosophy of Mathematics, Ethics and Value Theory, Philosophy of Mind, Metaphilosophy, and History of Philosophy! Many thanks once again to so many great guests, who bring such a variety of topics to the MCMP - unified by the idea that mathematical methods can fruitfully be applied to all kinds of questions in philosophy.

If you missed our first announcement, make sure to check out our video clip introducing the update here: http://firstsight.rforge.com/?videoid=xoZzT2cC6x. 1. Hi Roland,

I'm pretty interested in talks on many of the topics which now have their own collections. Given that, it can be a little cumbersome to click back and forth from them to see what's new. Is there some way get a list of all the videos you put out (preferably ordered by upload date)?

Thanks very much in advance (and sorry if I've missed some easy way of doing this).

    All the best
    Sam

  2. Hi Sam,

I just came accross your message only now - must have missed some notification, sorry for the delay! We always appreciate feedback on our efforts in communicating our research, thank you very much!

Up to now the best way of checking for latest additions to our video library is subscribing to the feed(s) in iTunes or liking our Facebook page "lmu.mcmp" where we also announce freshly published clips.

That said, we are continuing to improve the user experience step by step. You probably saw that we added a universal video search across all MCMP channels on our media page (which will see more advanced search options), and we are exploring different ways of smoothly delivering our videos in your browser. For those on Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 we have started looking into options of developing a dedicated MCMP video/media app.

Please stay tuned and don't hesitate to send in feedback, questions, suggestions!
Thanks again and best wishes, Roland
